Job Title: Band 5 MMT Pharmacy Technician
Location: NHS Hospital, Birmingham
Contract: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, 30 min break
Start Date: January 2025
Pay Rate: £18 per hour - £21 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Band 5 MMT Pharmacy Technician to join our clients NHS hospital team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality medicines management services within the hospital setting. The role involves working Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm with a 30-minute break.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide medicines management services in compliance with NHS standards.
Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective medicines use for patients.
Support the delivery of pharmaceutical services within the hospital.
Assist with the preparation and dispensing of medications as required.
Maintain accurate records of medications and ensure proper storage and handling.
Conduct regular audits to monitor and improve medicine usage and compliance.
Essential Criteria:
Must hold a Medicines Management qualification.
Must have previous experience working in an NHS hospital pharmacy setting.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
