Robert Half Office Team are currently recruiting for a HR Advisor with great TUPE experience. This role is remote, but will require some travel.
As an HR Advisor specialising in Project Management and TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings, Protection of Employment) expertise, you will play a paramount role in overseeing and managing HR-related projects, particularly those involving TUPE transfers. You will serve as a vital link between different departments, ensuring compliance with employment regulations, and facilitating seamless transitions during organisational changes.
1. Project management
Lead HR-related projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Develop comprehensive project plans, defining objectives, milestones, and resource allocation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals effectively.
2. Advisory Role:
Provide expert advice and guidance to management and HR teams on TUPE regulations, best practices, and compliance requirements.
Offer support in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures aligned with TUPE regulations.
3. Stakeholder Management:
Act as a liaison between different departments, ensuring clear communication and understanding regarding TUPE-related changes.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including legal advisors, unions, and employee representatives, to facilitate smooth transitions.
4. Documentation and Compliance:
Ensure accurate and compliant documentation for all stages of TUPE transfers, maintaining records and reports as required by regulatory bodies.
Conduct audits and assessments to guarantee adherence to TUPE regulations and recommend corrective actions if needed.
Person Specification
To excel in this role, a HR advisor should have strong knowledge of HR ER principles and practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to maintain confidentiality, and attention to detail. They should also be able to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and adapt to changing business needs.
The following range of knowledge, skills and experience are required:
5. Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or a related field. Additional HR training or experience is a plus
6. Proven experience (5 years) in HR, with a strong focus on project management and TUPE transfers and ERs matter.
7. In-depth knowledge of TUPE regulations, employment law, and HR best practices.
8. Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
10. Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
11. Advanced knowledge of MS Office, HRIS systems, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed.
12. Strong detail-oriented and resourceful mindset
13. Knowledge of HR laws and regulations
14. Fluent in English, and excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to articulate complex situations into precise and easily understandable dialogue
