The Role :
We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work at a vibrant and inclusive secondary school based in Bury St Edmunds. As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you will provide one-to-one or small group support to students with additional learning needs and help students with their daily tasks and academic activities, adapting materials and methods as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Support students with their individual learning needs, both one-to-one and in small groups.
2. Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities.
3. Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning atmosphere.
4. Monitor and track students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as needed.
5. Foster an inclusive environment that supports students with diverse learning needs.
Requirements:
6. Experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to support students with various learning needs and adapt to different teaching strategies.
9. Enhanced DBS on the updated service is mandatory (or willingness to apply for one).
10. Eligibility to work in the UK.
