Job Title: Personal Advisor - Care Leavers Service
Location: County Hall, Worcester (with travel across Worcestershire and beyond)
Contract: 3-Months initially (with potential to extend or become permanent)
Pay Rate: £16.26 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM)
About the Role:
Worcestershire County Council is seeking a passionate and dedicated Personal Advisor to join their Care Leavers Service. In this key role, you will support young people aged 17-24 to transition successfully to adulthood. You will work closely with young people, placing them at the heart of decision-making, and help them achieve independence and a bright future.
You will be the allocated worker and key contact for your young people, offering practical, personal, and emotional support. This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same, and you will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships while contributing to positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain respectful, supportive relationships with young people
Create and implement Pathway Plans in collaboration with young people
Keep accurate case records and maintain up-to-date documentation
Complete regular visits to young people at home and in the community
