JOB DESCRIPTION
DHL, an award-winning, leading supply chain business is seeking an IT Analyst, to provide on-site support, maintenance, fault diagnosis and to manage the resolution of any IT operational problems in both hardware and networks.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will be responsible for:
1. Supporting new business requirements with the installation and testing of new applications and undertaking project work as required.
2. You will maintain the existing applications while also assisting in development of reporting tools used by site to analyse performance and highlight improvement opportunities.
3. Assisting on new projects such as liaising with suppliers and central procurement teams, coordinating hardware procurement, testing and repair as required.
4. Acting as the first point of contact for IT queries, dealing with IT related problems and queries referred by other business teams and external customers working with multiple IT support desks. Acting as the first point of contact for IT queries.
5. Successful delivery for IT solutions will include the coordination of central IT functions and coordinating and communicating with site operational colleagues including local change management and incident coordination.
6. You will also play an active part in IT project delivery for the site, act as a site IT SME (subject matter expert) providing end user service to enable the effective use of IT.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
7. Experience of working in a similar IT Analyst role with experience of business systems support in an operational environment, IT project delivery support or IT service management team.
8. Systems implementation experience and the ability to work with and manage stakeholders.
9. Technical or Application Knowledge (desirable)
10. Worked with and achieved Service Level agreements.
11. Experience preferably in the logistics industry with IT automation solutions is desirable.
12. Experience gained in, or knowledge of the supply chain/ logistics industry is desirable.
