We are seeking an experienced ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) lecturer to join our team full-time! As the ideal candidate, you will be responsible for delivering a curriculum based on the four Preparing for Adulthood pathways -
1. Good Health,
2. Independent Living
3. Employment, and Friends
4. Relationships, and themunity
You will work with learners aged 16-25 who are working at pre-entry level and require knowledge of PBS (Positive Behavioural Support) and experience of behaviours of concern.A significant part of learning will take place inmunity-based settings, so you will need to befortable working outside of the classroom.Responsibilities include -
5. Deliver engaging lectures and seminars to learners aged 16-25
6. Session plans
7. Monitoring progress against targets
8. Writing annual review reports
You will also be expected to attend team meetings and carry out any other duties appropriate to the role.The successful candidate will have experience in SEN teaching and bemitted to providing the highest level of education to our learners.
