Job Description
This HR Advisor role is initially for a period of 12-18 months, based out of offices in Wakefield. Working as part of a generalist HR team, you will work alongside other advisors to support the Yorkshire and Midlands region. Key responsibilities will include:
* Supporting line managers with ER casework.
* Developing line management capability though coaching, training and development.
* Supporting recruitment campaigns.
* Working on restructuring activities.
* Assisting in the development of Engagement, Health & Wellbeing and Equality and Diversity related initiatives.
The Successful Applicant
The HR Advisor must be/have:
* Member of CIPD or studying towards qualification or similar.
* Prior experience in a generalist HR role at a similar level with a good working knowledge of employment law, codes of practice and good working practices.
* Current knowledge of employment trends and developments.
* A willingness to attend CPD/training events.
* Be capable of supporting internal investigations and determining facts upon which decisions can be made.
* Capable of identifying opportunities for improvement across the HR function.
