The governors of this large Primary School are seeking to appoint an outstanding dynamic and inspirational teacher to lead in the Arts (Art & Design, Design & Technology and Music) across all phases. King’s Wood staff are committed to raising standards in all areas and the successful applicant will be a teacher who genuinely believes in challenging every child to be the best that they can be. You will need to be able to work effectively as part of a caring committed team and be willing to become involved in the overall life and development of the school.

About you
The successful applicant will:
• Be able to demonstrate effective leadership skills or the willingness to develop them
• Have the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Be an excellent classroom practitioner
• Be driven to attain high standards for all pupils
• Have a thorough understanding of best practice in the history, geography and RE
• Have a thorough of understanding of effective assessment for learning
The post includes a full-time teaching commitment. All teachers have 0.1 PPA release time and additional leadership release will also be provided.
