Key Responsibilities of a Group Financial Director:
Preparing, examining, and analysing financial reports and records.
Creating effective and cost-efficient financial practices and procedures for both businesses & their associated clients.
Lead and drive expansion plans
Forecasting and reports
Working with the senior management team, to maintain and control their individual management information systems.
Oversee and manage all aspects of the group's financial operations.
Prepare and present financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Liaise with external stakeholders, such as auditors and tax advisors.
Provide financial guidance and support to the dealership's management team.
Assist in developing and implementing financial strategies and initiatives.What our client expects of their Group Financial Director:
Minimum of 5 years management accountancy experience in a senior accountant role within the automotive industry
Chartered Accountant or relevant qualification from AAT, ACCA, or CIMA etc.
Proficient in motor related dealer management systems as well as SAGE and all Microsoft Office applications.
Pinnacle experience would be advantageous.
Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
Solid understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
Proficiency in financial software and MS Office applications.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ideally have experience in acquisitions
