We are looking for a teaching assistant who is reliable, compassionate, understanding, and resilient. This role is to commence from September. The school has a range of resources to help with learning and development through both indoor and outdoor learning. They aim to create positive relationships and help the students have a smooth journey to secondary school. Your duties may include: • Attend to the pupils’ needs, and implement related personal programs, including social, health, physical, hygiene, and first aid and welfare matters. • Supervise and support pupils ensuring their safety and access to learning. • Establish good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model, being aware of, and responding appropriately to individual needs. • Prepare classroom as directed for lessons, clear afterwards, and assist with the display of pupils work. • Support the teacher in managing pupil behaviour, reporting difficulties as appropriate The ideal Teaching Assistant should: • Have experience working as an Early Years, Key Stage 1 or 2 Class Teaching Assistant or SEN TA.
