As the Academy Deputy Manager, you'll lead the Provider Engagement team, attract more members, and support the Academy team across all service sectors. What does the role of Academy Deputy Manager involve?
Based in Welwyn Garden City, you will work within an established team, deputizing for the Academy Manager to ensure the growth and efficient delivery of Academy services to providers and Care Professionals. Your duties include supporting the development of Provider Engagement specialists, analysing uprovider engagement figures, building relationships with key stakeholders, and collaborating across various internal teams. You will also work on IT developments to enhance the platform, manage the Academy Team in the Manager's absence, and directly engage with care providers to promote the benefits of using the Academy's free service. This includes maintaining contact with providers, nurturing them through the sign-up process, and developing providers outside Local Authority areas.
Additionally, you will handle data management by working with KPIs, ensuring the CRM is up to date, and complying with Social Care Regulations including GDPR. You will support project management across all Academy projects, such as the Academy App and launching new Local Authorities. Other tasks include obtaining case studies and feedback from care providers, understanding the Academy model to address customer queries, and working closely with the Academy Manager to grow the Academy rewards offer. You will also perform general tasks as needed to contribute to the smooth running of HCPA and the Care Professional Academy.

* 2 years’ experience leading a sales or customer service team – Essential
* Experience in Health and Social Care – Desirable
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages Excel, Power Point, Word, Project programmes
* Self-motivated, with excellent ability to work on own initiative, independently and as part of a team
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enthusiastic, committed, proactive and resourceful
* Excellent customer care skills and able to prioritise workload
* Must be able to successfully multitask displaying excellent time management, meet deadlines and KPI’s
* Ability to work under pressure without compromising the quality of work
* Be able to communicate with people of all levels across organisation as well as care providers, people working in care, collaborative working across teams and external partners.
* Excellent standards of written documentation with good attention to detail and accuracy
* Own transport with insurance for business use is essential for this role as travel around Hertfordshire may be required
* Flexible working arrangement will be required based on the needs of the Academy.
