Job title: Groundworker
Start Date: As soon as possible - Looking to interview
Randstad are currently seeking honest, reliable and hardworking individuals to join a civils client, this will be a long term role based in Kent with projects throughout South East England.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, and a minimum of 3 years proven experience in groundworks and a commitment to high quality workmanship.
This role will be based on a permanent basis
Depending on experience and qualification minimum rate it will start at £180 a day.
Key responsibilities:
1. Perform various groundwork tasks, including excavation, site preparation, drainage amd foundation work. In addition to operatin heavy machinery and equipment.
2. Engage in ground duties alongside machinery operation to ensure comprehensive completion of tasks.
3. Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.
4. Collaborate effectively with team members and other trades on site to ensure smooth project execution.
5. Read and interpret site plans and specifications to complete work accurately and efficiency.
6. Maintain a clean and organized worksite, ensuring tools and materials are managed properly.
Requirements:
7. Minimum of 3 years in groundworks with extensive experience in underpinning.
8. Proven leadership and supervisory skills are a significant bonus.
9. Strong proficiency in all aspects of groundworks ability to read and interpret drawings is a plus.
10. Demonstated ability to effictively manage time and resources to meet project deadlines.
11. Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and enforcing safe protocols.
12. Valid UK Driving license and reliable transportation preferred.
13. SSSTS qualification preferable: CSCS Card qualified. First Aid at work certification is a plus.
