Here at GSL Education we are looking for a motivated, kind and effective Primary SEMH Teacher to work for a setting on the outskirts of Newcastle.
This school is Ofsted graded good and prides itself on the quality of education and support it gives every child. This is a full-time opportunity starting ASAP, on-going.
The school is easy to reach by car or public transport. Working hours are 8.30-4.30pm and its a Monday to Friday role. The position is expected to run for the rest of the academic year at least.
The setting caters for children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties and associated needs such as autism, ADHD and attachment disorders. All of the pupils experience challenging behaviour so this is suited to a Primary SEMH Teacher with previous experience of teaching in a similar setting, or with pupils with challenging behaviours and/or special educational needs. However those with a real desire to teach in this area of education are encouraged to apply.

To be considered - We ask that you have :
* Enthusiasm, motivation, strong behaviour and classroom management skills.
* You must be empathetic and be able to build positive relationships with the young children.
* A UK recognised Teaching Qualification
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update service or be willing to do an immediate application
* Availability as detailed above
* Great planning and differentiation skills
* The ability to manage and motivate Teaching assistants within your class
