We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at the Veterinary Hospital & Veterinary Surgery.
Contract: Fixed Term (6 months)
Hours: 40 per week
Shift Pattern:
2. Working hours on a rota between 7.30am and 7.30pm Monday – Sunday working at The Veterinary Hospital and Surgery, including the MiNight Vet emergency service at Gorleston.

About the role:
Day-to-day duties of the role will include:
3. Answering phones and booking appointments
4. Responding to queries via phone, in person and email
5. Registering new clients
6. Completing insurance forms
7. Dispensing medications
8. Taking payments
9. And most importantly; providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the practice
What we're looking for in our Veterinary Receptionist:
10. Previous Receptionist experience is essential, veterinary experience is a plus!
11. Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
12. An excellent communicator with strong empathy
13. Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
14. A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
15. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
16. Must have a driving licence
