Key Responsibilities
As a Site Manager for the Northern Department, your primary duties will include:
- Coordinating and managing multi-disciplined labour for secured projects across the UK.
- Scoping, surveying, and pricing tenders, generating quotations, and ordering materials.
- Client-facing interactions, ensuring a professional approach at all times.
- Supporting Project Managers in site meetings, driving outcomes, and maintaining accurate records.
- Programming, scheduling works, and labour allocation.
- Producing onsite dilapidations and validations.
- Developing and submitting RFIs and TQs, ensuring timely close-out.
- Leading by example in HSEQ best practices and compliance with company standards and legislative requirements.
Skills and Experience
Ideal candidates will possess:
- A proven track record of delivering Fit-Out & MEP or Civil Projects to a high standard.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to chair meetings and drive outcomes.
- Strong understanding of client requirements, technical specifications, and project needs.
- Effective time management, delegation, and prioritisation skills.
- Familiarity with CDM Regulations, Principal Designer & Principal Contractor responsibilities.
- Experience in generating CDM PCI, CPP, and site plans.
- A logical and lateral thinking approach to problem-solving.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 5 years’ experience in a Main Contractor role.
- Reside within a 50-mile radius of Warrington.
- Full Driving Licence, valid CSCS Card, SMSTS Qualification or equivalent, and First Aid Training.
- Two references and a DBS Check (to be completed upon appointment).
Desirable Attributes
- Mechanical time-served experience.
- Technical Author experience.
- Further education qualifications.
