What We're Looking For
To be considered for this program, you must be motivated with a strong degree or expected degree – in any area. Ideally, you would also have a customer-driven attitude and an ability to quickly adapt to change and learn new technologies, and be passionate about relationship building as well as being a commercially minded problem solver.
Working in Liverpool
Whilst our fantastic office facilities in Liverpool will make you want to come to the office to work every day, we are currently operating in a hybrid working environment, meaning that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in.
Purpose of the Role
To participate in the day-to-day activities of the retail banking division providing insights and expertise that help senior colleagues make informed decisions, develop new products and services, and identify new market opportunities.
Accountabilities
1. Execution of small research projects, research to support strategic decision making, preparation of presentations and reports to communicate research findings, collaboration with senior management to implement research findings for retail banking.
2. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
3. Participation in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
4. Identification of opportunities, development of business cases, management of the deployment and launch of new products and services for retail banking.
5. Management of client relationships and provision of customer service support to clients and customers, under steadily decreasing supervision, responding to questions about products and services, processing of transactions, and resolution of customer complaints.
6. Management of the development and implementation of financial models and strategies that support in decision making for retail banking.
7. Training and mentoring of junior colleagues.
