My client based in Merseyside is looking for 2 x Lead Developers as they are now entering a major phase of growth.
They are looking to hire strong outgoing leaders who are comfortable working in a dual role between being hands on (85%) with C#, React, Azure, .NET Core & SQL and leading a small Squad of Developers (15%) which would include:
* One to ones, appraisals, performance monitoring
* Disciplinaries, Objective setting, training needs
* Career progression of the team
This position requires strong leadership skills to guide a team of engineers, foster collaboration, and provide technical mentorship. The Lead Software Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to align technical strategies with business objectives and deliver robust solutions that meet client needs.
Required:
* 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on Back End and Front End technologies.
* Proven experience in leading software engineering teams and driving technical projects to successful completion.
* In-depth experience with C#, .NET Core, .NET 4.x, React.js, and associated technologies.
* Expertise in SQL, Entity Framework, and SQL Server, with a strong understanding of database design and optimization.
* Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, and its associated services.
Preferred:
* Experience in mentoring and managing a team of software engineers.
* Strong background in Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipeline management.
* Previous experience in client-facing roles, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
The role is predominatly remoet with occasional site ciient site visits ( 1 x a month at most)
