As we continue to grow through 2024, OCU Group we are continuing with our sustained growth in all areas of our business. Due to this, we now have an opportunity for a SHEQ Coordinator to join our team based out of our Bridgend Depot.
The purpose of the role is to provide administrative support to the Head of Health and safety, Head of Environment and Quality and the regional SHEQ team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Be the central point of contact for regional SHEQ team and manage the flow of information.
* Collate information to enable review the effectiveness of SHEQ Management Systems.
* Collate data to enable project performance against leading indicators.
* Assist in the maintenance of training matrix and identifying gaps.
* Assist in logging personal details of new starters.
* Co-ordinate the data inputting and tracking of accidents, incidents, and corrective actions to our system.
* Supporting front line managers with system access and enrolling new starters
* Assist in the completion and distribution of SHEQ communications and documentation.
* Support the delivery of projects and campaigns to aid continuous improvement.
Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience in a similar type of role advantageous.
* Safety related qualification (NEBOSH/IOSH/SHEA) or experience working with management systems is desirable.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint essential).
* Comfortable working as part of a team and confident liaising with stakeholders.
* Ability to work alone.
* A high level of attention to detail.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills.
* Must be adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
