Hours: 8 am - 6 pm Hybrid (3 days a week office - Tuesday / Thursday and Friday) 2 days home.
Salary: up to £30K pa (DOE) plus commission on GP
Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident Homecare coordinator to join our team who is attentive to detail. The successful individual will have a proven track record, work ethic, and a great attitude toward learning and developing their skills and ideally, a minimum of 2 years’ experience to enable them to undertake and progress towards senior status. Homecare experience is desired but not essential.
As a member of our fast-paced recruitment team, you can bring your creativity when recruiting candidates in various healthcare settings focusing on domiciliary & complex care. You will be able to work with a hard-working, empathetic, and supportive team.
Role responsibilities:
You would be responsible for Resourcing candidates for various clients including vetting and pre-screening each candidate, ensuring they have the correct skills in line with the client's requirements, and managing your care packages.
You should have good administration skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate well as you will be dealing with candidates' and clients enquires through email & telephone. You would be expected to maintain a great working relationship with clients, candidates, and the team, working towards achieving the daily targets set.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, organise, and manage care schedules for service users, ensuring appropriate allocation of carers.
* Respond promptly to changing care needs, making adjustments to schedules as required.
* Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth care transitions.
Staff Supervision & Support
* Lead and support the care team, providing guidance and supervision to maintain high standards.
* Co-ordinate staff inductions, training, and performance reviews.
* Manage staff rotas, ensuring coverage for weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
Client Relations
* Act as the main point of contact for clients and their families, addressing concerns or issues promptly.
* Oversee onboarding, initial assessments, and regular reviews of client care plans.
* Ensure clients’ needs are met with dignity, respect, and professionalism.
Compliance & Administration
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with regulatory standards.
* Ensure compliance with CQC standards and company policies.
* Prepare reports and participate in audits as required.
Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience in domiciliary care coordination or a similar role.
* Strong understanding of care planning, risk assessments, and CQC requirements.
* Exceptional organisational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Competent IT skills for managing scheduling software and documentation.
* Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required.
