About the role Join our Food and Beverage team in Hampshire, expertly providing a luxury dining experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include training, lead and coach employees in the hotels F&B operation. Serving guests’ orders, having excellent knowledge of menu items to make personalised suggestions to guests. Ensuring standards of service are maintained at all times, setting and clearing tables, anticipating guest needs and accurately closing guest checks. You will be working collaboratively with our Food and Beverage team and Kitchen teams. This role provides insight into Front of House F&B operations, with frequent on-the-job training and opportunities to develop your talents. Job Description Train, evaluate, lead, motivate and coach all employees in the Hotel’s food & beverage operation to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met; daily activities and planning for outlet operation. You will need to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts. You should be able to describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Control staffing and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory and cash control. You will attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and partnership between departments. Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed. Work collaboratively and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
