Heritage Centre Learning and Engagement Officer
£37,443 - £39,264 per annum
Fixed Term until December 2025
The Learning and Engagement Officer will be responsible for managing all learning, engagement and consultation activity including volunteer and co-production activities in the Newham Heritage Centre. The role will work closely with the Project Manager and engage with Regeneration colleagues who are managing the capital element of the project.
The post holder will be line managed by the Heritage Centre Project Manager and will be part of a newly created project team.
The post holder will be creative, innovative and enthusiastic with excellent people skills and experience from the culture, learning and engagement sectors. They will bring with them the ability to work comfortably with a variety of people, including residents, councillors, community groups, cultural stakeholders and consultants.

This role is fixed term initially until December 2025, with the aim to extend until September 2026 (dependent on NLHF Delivery Phase grant funding being successful – the decision of which will be received in December 2025).
