About the role
As an Accommodation Officer, your responsibility will be for the day-to-day management of residential accommodations for key workers at Worcestershire Royal Hospital, ensuring a smooth, well-maintained, and supportive living environment. This includes managing the accommodation booking and allocation system, overseeing rent collection and arrears, and handling tenancy agreements in compliance with legal requirements.
About you
The ideal candidate for this Accommodation Officer role will have experience in managing contractor relationships and will be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. You should be customer-focused, able to provide excellent service to both residents and internal teams, and demonstrate a calm, professional approach when handling challenging or potentially stressful situations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong numeracy skills are essential for managing data and interpreting reports effectively. Knowledge of accommodation or housing management practices and relevant housing legislation is desirable but not essential.
