Senior Lawyer Civil Litigation

* Salary from £50,788 per annum to £54,928 per annum

This exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Legal Services team at Sheffield City Council. The team operates and thrives in a fast-paced environment providing legal advice in relation to a wide range of complex litigation areas, including housing disrepair claims, contract and commercial disputes, property disputes and business rates.
The successful candidate will:
* Lead, manage and develop a team of friendly and hardworking lawyers and assistants
* Manage high-profile and complex matters
* Provide advice and representation across various forums, including the County Court, Magistrates Court and First Tier Tribunals
* Work with the Legal Leadership Team and other stakeholders to provide top quality legal services.
For the role, you will need:
* Recognised Legal Qualification (Solicitor/Barrister or FCILEX)
* Extensive experience in Civil Litigation
* Management experience
