Salary: £30,000 to £47,000

About the Role:
As a Food Technology Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire students to develop essential life skills, creativity, and an understanding of food science and preparation. The ideal candidate is passionate about the subject and dedicated to making lessons engaging and inclusive for learners of all abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and comprehensive Food Technology lessons aligned with the school's curriculum, preparing students for assessments and practical life applications.
Design differentiated lessons to meet diverse learning needs, enabling all students to achieve their full potential.
Incorporate hands-on activities, technology, and real-world applications to make Food Technology exciting and relevant.
Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their growth and achievement.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that promotes respect and enthusiasm for learning.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related field; a master’s degree is advantageous.
PGCE/QTS/QTLS qualification.
Experience teaching Food Technology at the secondary level is preferred but not mandatory.
