The Role
Vigilant Security are looking for experienced SIA Door Supervisors to join our local team at a variety of venues within Dumfries & Galloway.
You will be required to provide our 5-star front of house service delivery, whilst maintaining a subtle, yet visible security presence. A warm welcome from our front-of-house team will determine the first impressions of our visitors. This guest service and security role is to provide the highest level of care.
In addition to local work, you will have the opportunity to work at venues and events further afield.
Whether you're looking for full time work or just a handful of shifts, our casual contract offers you great flexibility. However, you must be able to work some Friday and/ or Saturday shifts.
We offer a competitive rate of pay and annual leave including bank holidays.
Key Task/Experience Required:
Always deliver a 5-star guest experience.
Provide a professional first impression and deliver beyond client/visitor expectations.
Provide and maintain a consistently superior level of guest service at all times.
Sensitive guest interaction while maintaining a cohesive acknowledgment of all guests.
Be seen as a visible guest-focused professional by being proactive and greeting clients and visitors where possible.
Anticipate and action client requirements in a professional manner.
Always provide a consistent professional service.
Ensuring all H&S policies are adhered to.
Ensure all fire exits are kept clear and any Health & Safety issues are reported.
Ability and foresight to create a safe environment for all guests and visitors.
Maintain a high security awareness at a times.
Complete a full detailed handover at the end of each shift.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels.
Clear, concise, and confident communication skills.
Previous experience in hospitality or a guest service facing role.
Intuitive customer related logic
Ability to work independently with confidence, using own initiative as required.
Confidence and common sense to access and utilize expert resources when making decisions.
Maintain and practise a high degree of confidentiality at all times.
Have an acute sense of security awareness.
Valid SIA license preferred but not essential.
Fully comprehensive 5-year work/education history.
