About the role
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Health and Social Care lessons to students at various educational levels.
* Develop and implement a curriculum that covers key topics such as health and well-being, human development, and social care practices.
* Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
* Assess and evaluate student progress, providing timely feedback and support to ensure academic and personal growth.
* Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in health and social care education and integrate them into the curriculum.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Health and Social Care, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
* Teaching certification ( PGCE) in Health and Social Care or a relevant subject area.
* Proven experience teaching Health and Social Care at the secondary level.
* Strong knowledge of health and social care principles, practices, and current issues.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current in the field of health and social care education.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Health and Social Care Teacher you will:
* Must hold a PGCE or equivalent
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
* Must hold a PGCE or equivalent
* Must have experience of teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Health and Social Care.
