Job Description
Accounts Assistant responsibilities include:
3. Completing daily and monthly reconciliation of all bank receipts and payments
4. Reconciliation and balancing of monthly intersystem payments across accounting systems
5. Assistance to branches to help them identify till mistakes
6. Reconciliation of branch takings to cash/cheque/card payments received
7. Reconciliation of shop takings to retail ledger
8. Preparing and posting journals into accounting systems
9. Other similar duties within the department as required
The Successful Applicant
The candidate will have:
10. Some experience working within a Finance role - Required
11. Good working knowledge of MS Excel - Required
12. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - Required
13. High attention to detail - Required
14. Ability to work towards deadlines - Required
15. Good organisational and interpersonal skills - Required
