Role Of A Cleaner
If you are applying for the Overnight Cleaning role, there are many tasks involved. Although not all are listed here, here are a few that you will be responsible for:
1. Back room area tidy and clean, including underneath sink and pipes.
2. Take all rubbish out and roll out the bigger bins for the bin men.
3. Clean bins out and wash them.
4. Put all dirty cloths in the wash.
5. Set all clean cloths in the rack ready to be used.
6. Empty out fat strippers/collectors, wash out, and put back.
7. Deep clean the grill, pull forward, and clean all around the back.
8. All oil vats to be emptied using a machine; clean out all areas of the station and put all equipment back.
9. Sweep floors and mop floors.
10. Scrub legs and wheels of stations.
11. Wash all equipment that has been used on the previous shift.
12. Clean crew room: empty table, bins, sweep, and mop.
13. Freezer and chillers to be emptied out; walls, floors, and shelves to be cleaned.
Again, as already explained, this role isn't the most glorified role. You must be aware that it is a role that is greasy and not the best smell to be around.
