Field Quality Engineer
We are recruiting for a Field Quality Engineer join our Tamworth based client. You'll be joining an automotive parts company that specialises in manufacturing automotive modules and components. Being part of one of the largest automotive manufacturers in the world you'll be joining a leading supplier of automotive parts globally.
You'll play a crucial role in ensuring vehicle quality and customer satisfaction. In this dynamic, field-based role, you'll monitor and analyse field claims, assist with repairs in dealer workshops, and collaborate closely with international teams, including the headquarters in Frankfurt.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will need to have/be:
Minimum technician level with knowledge & experience of motor vehicle high voltage systems
High vehicle repair knowledge, experience, and technical ability
Some QC experience would be desirable
Analytical problem solving
Ability to work remotely with minimum supervision
Driving licence (class B) and a good command of PC knowledge (MS Office)
Excellent written, verbal, presentation skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
Flexibility to adjust/adapt starting and finishing working time by request/need
Good relationship building with customers and partnersDetails:
Salary: £35, 000 + £1, 610 lunch allowance (in addition to basic salary) + company car
Working Hours: Full time Monday - Friday
Location: Field based around Nottingham, Lincoln and Grimsby
Duration: PermanentRole of Field Quality Engineer:
Handle communication and reporting within the organization and with external partners (customers, HQ, European partners).
Conduct on-site visits to dealers for part issue analysis.
Visit local suppliers for quality inspections and audits.
Analyse local claim parts.
Provide weekly reports to headquarters and internal teams.
Monitor daily for potential or existing quality issues.
Track specific cases based on set criteria.
Identify cost-saving opportunities from claim data.Testing & Analysis:
Visit dealers to investigate parts and assist with repairs.
Send parts for further analysis if required.
Conduct inspections and preventive repairs.Reporting & Support:
Report findings to HQ and internally.
Maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
