You will support individuals with PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities), MLD (Moderate Learning Disabilities), physical difficulties, and autism. Working alongside a dedicated team of professionals, including Speech and Language Therapists (SLT), you’ll play a vital role in enhancing students’ communication and independence. Some of the students are non-verbal and use alternative communication methods like tablets and visual cards.
This is a full-time role for four days a week, ideal for candidates with experience in SEN or a care background. Personal care, including toileting, may be required for some students, so a compassionate approach is essential.
