Job overview
The Lincolnshire Heart Centre are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, hard working individual to join our dynamic and expanding team within the Cardiac Catheter Lab.
Main duties of the job
* Have good communication skills
* Have a flexible and adaptable approach to prioritise workload
* Be friendly and approachable
* Be reliable with good time management
* Have the ability to work in a physical environment
* Have the ability to work individually and as part of a team
* Have awareness of Infection Prevention and Control practices within a healthcare environment
* Be passionate about delivering a high quality service
* Support with other routine tasks within the department as required
Qualifications
* GCSE English Language Grade E or above or equivalent
* An ability to progress to NVQ level 2 or above in customer care or equivalent
* Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team
* Experience working within a hospital
* Ability to work alone or as part of a team
* Ability to work to a high standard
* Ability to undertake the moving and handling of patients and equipment
* Motivation to work within a clinical environment
* Ability to use own initiative to resolve problems and to prioritise workload
* Ability to work with minimum supervision
Specific Requirements
* Flexible in approach to work – must be able to undertake shift work where required, including weekend and bank holiday working.
* Ability to carry out strenuous physical tasks
* Cover for colleagues as and when required (Annual leave and sickness)
* Basic keyboard skills
* Previous customer care training
