As a Data Analyst at Aviva, you will play a crucial role in analysing complex datasets, developing insightful reports, and supporting our mission to provide exceptional services to our customers.
A bit about the job:
This position offers the opportunity to be in an analytics team at the centre of innovation and transformation in the Aviva Health business in how we work with our healthcare suppliers to optimise our over £600m claims spend a year.
You will have a crucial role in helping build our understanding of providers who offer our customers the best quality of clinical outcomes and simplicity of patient journey, while balancing sustainability of cost and affordability.
You will be a key player analytical and visualisation activity to craft and deliver on projects covering topics such as supplier understanding, pathway management, operational efficiency and cost leakage detection.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
1. Highly numerate and educated to degree level or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge through industry experience
2. Analytical skills with experience of handling, analysing and reporting on large data sets using tools such as SQL, R or Python
3. Skills on data visualisation with tooling such as Qlik
4. Communication and influencing skills with both internal and external partners
5. Working independently or as part of a team to deliver outcomes

6. Starting salary up to £37,000 (depending on skills, experience, and qualifications)
7. Bonus opportunity – 8% of annual salary - Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s
