We are looking for compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistants in Didsbury, who are passionate about delivering the highest quality one-to-one care for our service user building positive relationships with them and their family while enabling them to live as independently as possible in their own home.
Meet our service user
Our service user is a gentleman in his 60’s who lives in Didsbury and requires support throughout the day on a 1:1 basis to support his complex care and clinical care needs.
He is a very sociable character who loves to engage in activities within the community as much as possible, including socialising in his local pub, eating out with friends and his care team, and simply experiencing as much as possible.
He is a successful businessman and an active campaigner for access to the community for people with disabilities, he was previously awarded an MBE for “his services to disabled people in 2004."
He's a big fan of football and regularly enjoys attending the Manchester United home games with the support from his care team.
As part of his dedicated team, you will be required to assist him with all his personal care, moving and handling, meal preparation and attending to his clinical care needs when required.
Our ideal team will share his passion for adventure and social connections, ensuring that every experience is accessible, comfortable, and unforgettable.
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

Essential Experience Required
1. 3 months of previous care experience
2. Personal Care
3. Moving and Handling
4. Medication Administration
5. Driving licence
Desirable Experience
6. Spinal Injury Care
7. Knowledge of Autonomic Dysreflexia
8. Respiratory Care
9. Cough Assist
10. Ventilation Management
11. Catheter Care
12. Bowel Management
We are offering full time hours for this position containing the following shifts below;
13. Days- 7:30am-6:30pm
14. Short Calls: 8:00am-2:00pm & 8:00am-12:00pm
15. 1x full Weekend per month is essential for this position

16. Weekdays: £13.00-£14.00 per hour. Approx. up to £154 per 11-hour shift
17. Weekends: £14.00-£15.00 per hour. Approx. up to £165 per 11- hour shift
18. Bank Holidays: £18.00- £19.00 per hour. Approx. up to £209 per 11-hour shift
