Customer facing NPD Technologist. To ensure customer critical paths for project briefs are adhered to, launching products on time. Supporting briefs with innovative ideas and trends through market data and research.
Working for this growing food business you will manage Customer accounts with NPD and EPD projects from concept to launch. You will create and develop innovative designs, capturing new key trends designs. You will have experience of working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment ensuring that all key milestones are met.
The remit includes responsibility for sourcing new ingredients, fit for purpose for the design, customer and site requirements and costs.
This role gives you the opportunity to work closely with Retailer customers by attending customer submission meetings. Experience of working closely with factory teams and process technologists to support factory trails is sought.
The ideal candidate will have experience working within an NPD Technologist role in the food industry. Knowledge and experience of bakery ingredient functionality. Understanding of HACCP principles and suitably qualified (Level 3 minimum). Good written and verbal communication skills. Computer literate in all aspects of Microsoft Office. Food Hygiene Qualified. Conversant with retailer Codes of Practice and Policies.
