Our client is now recruiting for an experienced Legal Assistant to join its expanding conveyancing team in Waterlooville, Hampshire.
My client is a Lexcel accredited & reputable multi-service Law Firm covering the South Coast.
The practice is looking for an individual with drive and ambition, who can work on their own initiative as well as in a team, take ownership and manage their own casework, with an emphasis on excellent written and verbal communication.
The Role & Responsibilities:
• Carrying out all required administrative duties on conveyancing matters
• Opening files electronically and setting up paper files including conflict & ID checks for client.
• Prepare correspondence and documents using digital dictation, closing, storage and retrieval of files
• Liaising with clients and third parties during the course of the file.
Person Specification:
• The successful candidate would have knowledge and experience in this area of law
• Able to communicate in a professional manner with internal and external contacts
• Commitment to providing excellent client care
• Excellent IT skills to include Outlook, Word and Excel
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task
• Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to changing requirements
• Team-focus with a flexible “can do” and collaborative approach to working with others, but also able to work alone.
