Your role and responsibilities
You will:
* manage data proactively
* support and encourage colleagues to meet targets
* respond to statutory requests for information within set timescales, involving trawling databases and preparing responses for the manager
* help to drive quality assurance by supporting the team with the case management system
* proactively develop systems which will support and complement the social work team.
You will need:
* good organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines effectively
* skilled communicator who can positively encourage team performance
* confidence in using databases
* good customer service skills
* to be able to manage workload effectively.
The team
The team is responsible for undertaking social work assessments, S47 investigations and supporting families where a child is in need or there is a child protection plan. The team works directly with children and families who present a range of complex needs.
They aim to balance staff wellness with achieving the best possible outcomes for children and parents.
