Purolite, an Ecolab company, the world leader in resin-based separation, purification and extraction technology, is seeking a Senior Chemical Engineer at our state-of-the-art RD&E and manufacturing site in Llantrisant, Wales!

Purolite is seeking a Senior Chemical Engineer who will work within the UK RD&E team and contribute to the pipeline of innovative product launches by supporting their introduction into manufacturing. This role reports to RD&E Group Leader (Process Development).

What you’ll do:
8. Work within the Process Development team – dedicated to the successful commercialisation of new products designed to be used for manufacturing in regulated environments.
9. Work alongside chemists to design and develop processes for functionalisation of resins as part of the NPI process, with scale-up of products from lab scale through pilot-plant to supporting full-scale manufacturing.
10. Collect and use data to make recommendations for critical process parameters and process safety considerations.
11. Assist in the preparation of documentation for scale up, record data and comply with quality standards.
What you'll need:
12. Degree or Advanced degree in a chemical engineering or related discipline.
13. Demonstrates use and application of standard chemical engineering, project management, and other relevant principles, theories, concepts and techniques to assignments where precedents may exist.
14. Provides solutions to a variety of problems which require collecting and analyzing data from diverse sources to solve problems.
15. Demonstrates initiative and open mindedness to identify and try the new and different approaches.
16. Contributes to the research and development of differentiated technology, products, processes and systems.
