Job summary
We are very excited to have an Assistant Psychologist vacancy in Ashford. You will work closely with a fully skilled and highly specialist MDT. You will have the opportunity to engage and support interventions, collect important data for Ashford and participate in research projects to improve outcomes for the local young people using the service.
Main duties of the job
This post would be attractive for somebody who is passionate about young people's mental health and is excited and motivated by the opportunity to develop a centre of excellence.. You will be joining a well-established, skilled, multi-disciplinary team, including: nursing, psychiatry, OT, nurses, social workers and Specialist Therapists. This post will involve but is not limited to:
1. Supporting the group programme.
2. Offering evidence based intervention to young people.
3. Collect and feedback routine outcome measures.
4. Contribute to MDT discussions.
5. Support the audit processes.
6. School observations.
7. Research projects for service development.
About us
Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
Probationary Period
