IPS have partnered with a highly regarded global (re)insurance provider who are seeking a talented Analyst to manage and provide oversight of their impressive Property book of business.
Working at a Portfolio level, with exposure to multiple lines including Commercial Property, Binders, Construction, Engineering and Power, you will have the chance to oversee and guide the business’ decision-making process and overall view of risk appetite. Similarly, working closely alongside Underwriting and Actuarial teams, you will provide key analysis and play an active role in the reporting and portfolio roll-up process. With great exposure and broad scope for professional development, you will have ample opportunity to be directly involved in exciting project-based work such as process enhancement and efficiency gains, in line with strategy set by the business and planned growth. In addition, you will have the opportunity to oversee the training and progression of junior members of the team, making it a great chance to develop managerial skills and qualities. To be considered for the above role:
1. Strong Catastrophe modelling/Exposure Management experience with use of RMS Risklink highly desirable.
2. Proficiency using coding and programming languages such as SQL, Python and VBA being highly advantageous.
3. Clear communicator with a fine attention to detail, able to work independently and as part of a wider team.
