Role overview
As the Aftersales Manager, you role will be to manage the Technical Service Department and to work closely with the Customer Service team to achieve quality and customer care objectives.
Key responsibilities
Your key responsibilities as an Aftersales Manager will be to:
· Manage and support the technical service department
· Undertake regular reviews of departmental performance
· Undertake performance reviews and identify training needs
· Implement appropriate training and development plans
· Keep to up to date with technical information and to communicate relevant information to the team
· Recruit departmental staff
· Contribute to the development of annual budgets
· Produce regular reports on departmental performance
· Monitor and manage costs in accordance with agreed budgets
· Continually work to improve customer care standards
· Monitor and manage work in progress
· Monitor and control cash, trade and warranty debtors
· Attend meetings and training sessions
