An exciting opportunity within NTW Solutions Limited has arisen for a Maintenance Craftsperson (Joiner) hrs within the Estates Team based at Hopewood Park Hospital.

Main duties of the job
The main duties of the role will include.
1. To undertake planned preventative and reactive building maintenance duties, minor and major refurbishment works, and manufacturing as required across all Trust properties and other areas of responsibility.
2. Statutory inspection, maintenance and repair of fire resisting door sets and upgrade when necessary. Maintenance and repair of fixtures, fittings and equipment.
3. Locksmith duties eg. Installation and repair/reconditioning of door locks and furniture (inc. specialist hardware such as digital locks, control drugs locks etc).
4. Window repairs including replacement glazing
5. Interpretation of technical drawings, measuring and setting out on site.
6. Hold a full UK driving licence.
7. Be able to erect and dismantle access equipment such as scaffolding
8. Be able to work at heights.
9. Recognised Joinery Apprenticeship.
10. City & Guilds qualification/NVQ level 3 or equivalent post apprenticeship experience.

The post holder will have previous general experience in service, maintenance, and repair of the following types of equipment; Door locks and closures, Roller shutters, UPVC/wooden framed windows and door sets, Building services equipment (lathes, pillar drills, circular saws, Band saws, etc,), Furniture design and assembly and other general building services equipment.
