About the Role
We are a well-established and busy independent pharmacy dedicated to providing exceptional customer care and satisfaction. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Dispenser Assistant to join our team.
This role is perfect for someone who is proactive, a fast learner, and excellent with people. If you’re looking to contribute to a growing business, this could be the right fit for you. The ideal candidate will understand the importance of accuracy in our fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong teamwork skills.
Main Duties
* Maintain an accurate, efficient and professional counter experience for all our customers.
* Administration support in the vaccination centre.
* Advising customers on health products.
* Replenishment and cleaning.
* Support the onsite pharmacist in achieving excellence in our customer experience and meeting all legal requirements.
Qualifications
* Qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 2 in dispensary (Training can be provided).
* An excellent understanding of providing an enhanced customer experience.
* Must be computer literate and have excellent communication skills.
* The successful candidate will be polite, vigilant and have the ability to work well under pressure.
* Able to build relationships with key partners (GP surgeries, care/nursing homes etc.).
* Experience in ordering and merchandising and replenishment.
* A high standard of English and communication skills.
* A good level of maths.
* Minimum five GCSE passes.
* Able to comply fully and understand the importance of customer confidentiality.
* Good organisational skills, excellent time management skills and able to work to strict deadlines and multitask.
* A willingness to learn and apply new skills.
