A nursery in Staffordshire is in search of an experienced nursery manager to lead their team.
The perfect candidate for this role should possess innate leadership and business management abilities. They should demonstrate sensitivity and empathy towards both parents and staff, along with the capacity to handle feedback and excel under pressure. In challenging circumstances, maintaining patience and composure is essential. They should also be adept at self-assessment, evaluating team performance, and utilizing various computer software packages.
As a nursery manager, your responsibilities would include:
1. Establishing a safe and engaging learning environment
2. Providing updates on children's progress to parents and caregivers
3. Recruiting and nurturing nursery staff
4. Maintaining records and preparing reports
5. Budget management
6. Ensuring compliance with safety and child protection regulations

Essential:
16. Must be at least Level 3 qualified
17. Excellent understanding of EYFS
18. Must have extensive knowledge of safeguarding
19. Must have senior leadership experience within a nursery setting
