Job Description
Job Title: Operations Coordinator
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Hybrid home/office with access to our Nottingham office a minimum of twice per week
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimising the day-to-day operations of our company. Your main responsibility will be to help manage our warehousing partners to ensure that we are servicing customer orders on time, in full. You will also be responsible for managing stock integrity within the warehouses to ensure that stock levels remain aligned.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Stock Integrity Control: Enhance stock management by integrating predictive analytics tools to anticipate demand fluctuations and system discrepancies before they affect the supply chain. Establish cross-platform audits with warehousing partners to maintain real-time feedback on stock levels, minimising data sync delays and bolstering accuracy. This proactive approach would align our operational agility with demand trends, reducing reactive stock adjustments.
Continuous Improvement with Data Metrics: Set up monthly tracking of key metrics for warehousing efficiency (e.g., pick accuracy, order lead time) to identify and prioritise improvement areas. Use this data to target one specific improvement each quarter with our warehousing partners—whether that’s faster processing times, fewer errors, or cost savings.
Order Management and 3PL Coordination: Maintain full oversight of all orders in the system, ensuring they are on track to ship on time and that our 3PL consistently meets service-level agreements (SLAs). Develop a daily review process to flag any potential delays or issues, and establish clear, proactive communication with the 3PL to address these swiftly. This includes prioritising urgent orders and communicating real-time updates to the team, ensuring we meet customer expectations without compromising overall efficiency. Strong organisational skills and clear prioritisation are key to staying ahead of any operational hiccups.
Cost-Controlled Budgeting: Build a monthly process for tracking warehousing costs, including invoice review and PO verification, with a clear focus on catching and reducing overspend. Implement automated alerts for variances, so we can address cost spikes right away rather than reactively at quarter-end.
Qualifications/Experience:
* Logistical experience preferred.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities.
* Excel experience/skills preferred.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Strong teamwork ethic.

* Part of the BCORP organisations
* 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
* Birthday day off
* Cycle to work scheme
* Electric Car scheme
