It's an exciting time at Sense as our team is expanding! We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Children's Community Support Worker to join our team, Our Get Out There (GOT) Service supports children and young people with their social programme of activities.
This will be a Permanent role, working 10 hours per week in Solihull. There is a morning call required for 1 hour in the mornings and the community activities will be from 4pm-7pm on weekdays and 10am-2pm on weekends.
As a Community Support Worker, you will be provided 1-1 support to a Child who has Autism and Learning difficulties to access the community. Supporting with sensory activities both at home and in the community.
You will support and take part doing activities they enjoy such as visiting parks and going swimming.

Your duties can include:
10. To support individuals / groups within the centre and community.
11. To provide a customised, responsive and high quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments, physical and/or learning disabilities who use Sense services.
12. To deliver services which meet or exceed organisational expectations and standards.
Your required skills and experiences:
13. A full UK license and must be willing/able to drive your own vehicle is essential.
14. Experience of working with an individual who has Autism is desirable.
