Design Manager / Senior Design Manager
Design Manager - a leading privately-owned construction contractor are recruiting a Design Manager to join their growing design management team. This is a great opportunity for a Design Manager to work on prestigious design and build projects including student accommodation, high-rise residential, build-to-rent and commercial developments across South Yorkshire and the East Midlands.
The initial project is a high-rise student accommodation development in Sheffield (£40m) with future projects across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire ranging from £20m to £60m.

Requirements:
- Strong technical knowledge of architectural, building services, structural, civil design solutions
- Experience delivering D&B projects as a Design Manager
- Strong knowledge of CDM and Building Regulations
- Experience working for Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Review the technical aspects of details put forward by architects and engineers
- Coordinate changes with the Design team to ensure best value
- Lead design team meetings and coordinate build process
- Liaise with client and consultant throughout the project

Salary & Package:
- Basic salary of £65,000 - £85,000 (DOE)

To qualify for the higher rate of pay you must be able to demonstrate a track record as a Senior Design Manager delivering construction projects for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 building contractor ranging from £10m - £20m.
