Our client, a renowned firm in the water sector, is currently seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to join their team on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervising the mechanical installation operations
Ensuring that all mechanical works comply with the relevant safety and regulatory standards
Coordinating with internal teams and external contractors to ensure timely project completion
Conducting regular site inspections and audits to maintain quality control
Mentoring and guiding junior engineers and fitters
Reporting on project progress and troubleshooting any issues that arise
Implementing and maintaining effective health and safety protocols
Maintaining accurate documentation and records for project reporting
Job Requirements:
Experience in mechanical engineering, specifically within the water industry
Proficient in installation engineering and mechanical fitting
Understanding of mechanical systems and equipment used in water projects
Exceptional supervisory and leadership skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Relevant mechanical engineering qualification
