About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Senior Trials Coordinator to join the Critical Care & Perioperative Medicine Research Group at William Harvey Research Institute, QMUL led by Professor Rupert Pearse. The post holder will lead the day-to-day management of the multi-centre trials led by the group ensuring safe and efficient management and adherence to study protocols, current regulatory requirements, and UK legislation.
About You
The successful candidate should have an undergraduate degree in a biomedical or related subject. They should have considerable experience in coordinating clinical trials either in a clinical trials unit and/or health related research. Knowledge of current regulatory requirements and a willingness to travel are essential. The candidate will be a good communicator, team-player, hardworking and be flexible with a willingness to learn new skills.
About the Institute
Professor Pearse and his team lead research projects conducted across a large part of east London as well as collaborative projects throughout the UK and worldwide. Research interests include improving outcomes following major surgery, critical illness, polytrauma and acute kidney injury. The group includes Professor Gareth Ackland, Dr John Prowle, Dr Zudin Puthucheary, Clinical Lecturers, Research Fellows and PhD students. This post underpins the further development of a world leading research programme led by the group.
