First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Trainee Escape Systems Technician on behalf of one of our clients.
A specialist hands-on role, the trainee will have the opportunity to work with all aspects of the business servicing & maintaining ejection seats, for both the military and civilian sectors. This will take place at scheduled intervals to approved requirements and industry standards.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Servicing & maintaining survival equipment to company/OEM manuals & guidelines.
2. Performing scheduled maintenance and safety policies on all aspects of the escape system.
3. Disassembly, testing & fault finding of survival equipment/escape systems.
4. Repair & replace of components.
5. Performing operational and functional tests of equipment.
6. Repair & replace of components.
Skills and Qualifications:

10. No previous experience is necessary in escape systems, however a willingness and interest in practical applications and aviation would be advantageous.
11. Must have a background from within engineering with minimum of 2-3 years’ work experience.
12. GCSE standard of education.
