If you are looking to join a leading Yorkshire law firm and want to work in an exciting, friendly and inclusive environment where you will be supported and given opportunities to progress your career, we have the ideal opportunity for you.
Our Contentious Probate team is one of only a few in West Yorkshire which offers specialist and exclusive advice and representation to national and international clients dealing with the whole spectrum of private wealth disputes.
They provide technical advice on all types of will, trust and estate disputes.
The role
To assist with the team’s busy and growing workload, we are now looking to recruit a solicitor with around 3 to 5 years PQE, gained within this practice area.
This is a rare opportunity for a contentious probate specialist looking to develop their knowledge and experience in an award-winning firm and deal with an interesting and varied caseload.
You’ll be expected to provide a range of legal support to our clients, take responsibility for managing your own cases and support the supervising Partner on more complex client matters, as well as assist in business development activities as the team continues to build on its success.
What we’re looking for
If you are ambitious, looking for a career pathway, and want to work in a friendly, inclusive and understanding environment where your wellbeing will be supported, this could be your perfect career move.
Excellent communication skills are essential, and you must be able to demonstrate empathy and sensitivity.
Being ACTAPS qualified would also be an advantage.
This role falls within our hybrid working arrangements, which incorporate elements of working from home combined with office-based working.
How to apply
If you have the skills and experiences we are looking for and this sounds like a career opportunity you would like to pursue, then we want to hear from you. Please send your CV and a covering e-mail, including details of your current salary, to our HR Director, Neil Towse (neiltowse@schofieldsweeney.co.uk).
